As Independence Day approaches, communities throughout San Diego County are gearing up for a variety of festive events to celebrate the red, white, and blue. From fireworks extravaganzas to parades and picnics, there is something for everyone to enjoy this Fourth of July.

In Carlsbad, residents can look forward to the 4th of July BBQ and Fireworks Spectacular at Park Hyatt Aviara Resort, Golf Club and Spa, as well as the Red, White and BOOM! event at Legoland California. Chula Vista will host the Chula Vista 4th Fest at the Elite Athlete Training Center, while Coronado will have the Crown City Classic at Tidelands Park.

Del Mar will hold a July 4 Parade at Powerhouse Park, while El Cajon will have Fourth of July Fireworks at Kennedy Park. In Imperial Beach, residents can enjoy Independence Day Fireworks at Pier Plaza, and in La Jolla, there will be a Fourth of July Drone Show at La Jolla Shores Hotel.

San Diego will have a plethora of events, including the Big Bay Boom at San Diego Bay, Enchanted Wonders Fireworks at SeaWorld San Diego, and a Fourth of July Celebration at Standley Recreation Center in University City. Additionally, the USS Midway Museum will host a sold-out Fireworks Viewing Party.

Other cities such as Poway, Ramona, Rancho Bernardo, San Marcos, Santee, Scripps Ranch, University City, and Vista will also have their own Fourth of July celebrations with fireworks, parades, and more.
