Growing up in Pardo, Cebu City, Carlo learned the value of hard work from a young age, helping his parents sell delicacies to make ends meet. Despite facing financial difficulties, Carlo pursued his dream of becoming a nurse, working multiple jobs to finance his education. After graduating from the University of Cebu – College of Nursing, Carlo worked at Perpetual Soccour Hospital while also coordinating events. Eventually, he decided to focus on event coordination full-time, a decision he does not regret.
Carlo’s event-organizing company, Unique Weddings and Events, started 15 years ago with a small shop in Gorordo Street, Cebu City, and has now grown into a successful business with a team of six dedicated individuals. Carlo’s attention to detail and commitment to quality have earned him the trust of clients both locally and abroad.
Despite facing discrimination early in his career, Carlo remained resilient and focused on surpassing his goals. Today, with 30-40 weddings a month, Carlo’s priority is client satisfaction and maintaining quality over quantity. His company has become a one-stop shop for clients, offering a seamless experience from coordination to execution.
